Flowers
Abundant, mildly fragrant, semi-double flowers that are rosy-pink on the outer petals and softer pastel pink inside. This gives a two-toned effect when the buds swell and open. Borne in dense umbels of six to eight flowers in mid-spring, however, the tree often takes a few years to 'settle down' and produce abundant flowers.
