The narrow foliage, to 15 cm, is a rich deep green with a rusty-brown backing (indumentum). Densely arranged foliage.
Bark

Smooth, greyish-brown in colour, aging to dark grey. Young shoots bright green.
Ornamental Fruit

Bright red seeds are formed in an aggregate of follicles during late summer.
Tree Habit

Fastigiate when young, broadening slightly with age to become narrowly conical. Both foliage and branch habits are dense.
Flowers

Large creamy white flowers are produced during the summer months even on young trees. Flowers are formed at the branch tips and have a sweet lemon fragrance.
