    Evergreen. Glossy, waxy and dark green above, pale green beneath on older growth, densely arranged on the branches. Maintains an excellent, glossy finish all year. Older leaves turn yellow to brown and shed in autumn and again in spring as new growth begins.

    Smooth. Mature bark ages to grey-brown to dark grey. Young shoots are bright green.

    Bright red seeds are formed in an aggregate of follicles after flowers.
