Foliage
Adult leaves are narrow lanceolate up to 20 cm long and 1.5 cm wide. Both juvenile and adult leaves are glossy green in colour with numerous oil glands. Slightly pendulous.

New bark is smooth, powdery white ageing to grey. Can be patchy.

Cup-shaped, disc raised-convex with three to four valves slightly protruding.

Erect, rather slender habit with long, narrow leaves that hang downwards producing a willow-like appearance.
