Foliage
Juvenile leaves are bluish-green, rounded and can be wider than they are long. Adult leaves are a dull grey-green, ovate to broad-lanceolate in shape and up to 10 cm long.

Generally fibrous, shed on trunk and lower branches in short strips to become smooth and revealing an under colour of greyish-cream to white.

Pear-shaped with depressed disc and three to five enclosed valves.
