The only upright growing cultivar of the Dissectum Group of Japanese maples. A. palmatum ‘Dissectum Seiryu’ is an attractive small tree with ‘laceleaf’ foliage that turns yellowish-gold to crimson in autumn. Well suited for protected courtyards and small gardens.

    Green leaves, deeply incised with seven lobes that in turn are deeply dissected. The light green new leaves contrast well against the darker, mature foliage. Autumn colours are yellowish-gold with some crimson colouring developing, depending on exposure.
