Foliage
Light to mid-green, pinnate leaves usually with three- to five (occasionally more) broad leaflets. Autumn colour pale greenish-yellowish then pale brown. The falling leaves disintegrate quickly and seldom require cleaning up.

Light grey to greyish-brown. Young branches olive-green with a white bloom.

Samaras in pairs, held in pendulous clusters from the outer branches of female plants.

Broad, irregularly rounded and asymmetric. Wide spreading and often multi-stemmed. Can grow 4 to 6 metres during the first 5 years.
