    Medium green, pinnate leaves with three to seven leaflets and red petioles. Emerging leaves show a reddish-brown tinge giving a tonal effect as the tree comes into full leaf. Autumn colours are attractive bright red, orange and yellow. Fallen leaves quickly disintegrate and rarely require cleaning up.
