Tangelo 'Minneola'

The Tangelo is a mandarin-grapefruit cross. this heavy cropping tree produces medium to large juicy, bell-shaped fruit with a prominent neck and a skin that is a deep orange colour. Tangelo's generally have looser skin, making them easier to peel than Oranges. Best eaten fresh when fully ripe. Tangelo's will bare larger crops when pollinatged with a mandarin.
