Listing for Quercus (Oak)

Oaks are beautiful trees, most suitable for street and avenue planting, golf courses, parks and gardens or large properties. A line of Oaks is a wonderful sight, providing filtered shade and protection from the summer sun and wind. Oaks require pruning only to shape the tree or remove low branches for access. Pruning should be undertaken during winter. They are adaptable to most soil conditions and growing areas from cold climates to sub-tropical regions. Hardy once established. Useful for windy sites, preferring an open position.
