LED low power lighting
ME Lighting will be releasing their latest innovation at Chelsea... A LED Light drawing only 12 watts which gives a similar light output to a 50 watt halogen globe. A truly sustainable product in these times of climate change and global warming.
There are two proven ways to reduce garden lighting power consumption. You can reduce the amount of lighting used in the garden or go for low wattage alternatives.
LED lighting offers the lighting consumer a low watt, energy saving light that has a very high light output for the amount of energy used.
Kimberley and Donnybrook Sandstone
The garden will feature 32 tonnes of Kimberley and Donnybrook Sandstone, from Western Australia. This stone will add unique colours and textures to the garden.
Sandstone is created when sand is eroded and the re-deposited by water and/or wind. Combined with various organic matter these grains of sand are cemented together with quartz, pyrite and calcite.
The natural colours of Kimberley Sandstone range from soft beiges, through to orange yellow and purple tones. One of the best places to view Kimberley Sandstone is at Federation Square in the heart of Melbourne, Victoria. Donnybrook Sandstone can vary in colour from almost pure white to deep buff tones and even deep pink. Generally the lighter coloured stone darkens with exposure air.
Colombo Construction Corporation 'Firebowl'
Colombo is currently manufacturing a series of interior and exterior fire features for public and private clients.
The first in the series are the outsized outdoor firebowls. The six-foot diameter Cor-Ten steel bowls are fitted with a 300,000 BTU burner, a connection for propane or natural gas, and a manual pilot ignition system for safe and controlled ignition.
