| The crew were pleased to land in Singapore and have the opportunity to get off the plane, stretch their legs and get some fresh air – even though it was 27 degrees, very humid and the middle of the night. |
By the time we reached Dubai we finally saw some daylight. The relaxing stop was thrown into chaos when Mark realised that he was no longer carrying his folio of plans (and yes all three copies of the plans were in the same folio and no he didn’t have an electronic back up). Fortunately with Scott to keep him calm he managed to retrace his steps and find them at the security screening area. |
Phew! |

| Finally arrived at Heathrow – the uniforms stood out at the baggage claim |
Uniforms also stood out on the train |
Mark and the double-decker bus, just to prove he is in London |

Mark, with Tim and Steve for support went straight to BBC Interactive interview. Mark’s still not sure why Tim told him hair was fine when it clearly wasn’t – maybe it’s just not a question you should ask of someone who has no hair! The other confusing thing for Mark is why he had to hold a piece of A4 paper over his face during the interview??

| The crew visited the site for the first time. This is the main entrance – known as the Bullring Gate. All of the vehicles entering the site have to go through this entrance. |
The team (or at least the one’s who weren’t wearing dangerous flip-flops) on site for the first time with Show Manager Alex. |
First night in London has to be spent at the pub – Scott seems to have been appointed as the team taste tester! |
