Products used in the building of the Ausralian Garden
Sculpture
Mark has chosen to use the Lump Sphere Sculpture and Plinth designed by Chris Vassallo at Lump as one of the feature pieces at the Chelsea Flower Show. The Sphere is 900mm in diameter and is made from galvanized steel with a hand painted finish that we call our “Polished Concrete” effect.
The Sphere is mounted on a Plinth 900 mm T x 300mm X 300mm made from Corten.
Light Boxes
The signature Lump Light Features will also be displayed in the garden. They are hand made from steel with a sealed rusted finish and are 900mm T x 400mm W. Six light features in total will light up a beautiful interpretation of a delicate flowering grass (Themeda australis) designed by Mark.
Light Shade
Hanging in the Garden we will also see a modern hanging light shade hand made from frosted glass and steel with a rusted finish. This Light shade is to hang over the white triangular “Chelsea Coffee Table” and Mark designed the hanging light shade to mimic this.
Coffee Table
The ‘Chelsea Coffee Table’ is fabricated from Stainless Steel, Bluestone and Corian which is ideal for sculpturing seamless hard-edged geometric shapes.
Purple Boots
The purple boots that the crew are wearing are Steel Blue's Argyle style.
145mm high lace up ankle boots. Waxy leather. Padded ankle, collar and tongue. Fully lined. Steel capped. Polyurethane midsole/Thermo Plastic Urethane outsole, heat resistant to 130 C/266 F. Available in sizes 3-16.
