The most amazing thing today was the crowds - the crowds to get in and the crowds at the garden.
BBC did a couple of interviews in our garden, one with Jack and the other with Alan Titchmarsh, Wes and Steven Vella, the winner of the 2005 Don Fleming Student Award. |

| We all arrived on site with no idea what the result was going to be. As soon as the result was known the phone interviews started. They were closely followed by the TV cameras. |

| We had a team photo and a visit from Richard Alston, the High Commissioner. The crowds were large and everyone wanted a planting list. Lucky Simo was there to talk to them! |

| The rain was annoying for Don and Dawn, but it didn't stop Warren getting celebratory drinks. |

| All of the gardens are finally finished and the show was only open to the press today. We had arranged a photo shoot with some models to compliment the lap pool. There are quite a few pictures by popular request! The girls did an amazing job to look like they were enjoying playing in the freezing cold water. |

| The models attracted plenty of attention with photographers lining up to get the best position. The team photo didn't quite attract as many professional photographers. We also had a bit of a BBQ with sausages and prawns. |
